As we watch shocking images of utter destruction come in from Haiti, a nifty thing was brought to my attention by Facebook friends and confirmed on the White House's website. Text "HAITI" to 90999 with your cell phone and a $10 donation will be tacked on to your monthly bill. Did it.

While helping with a story about a church group from Hackettstown, NJ that went to Haiti on Saturday (and are thankfully all OK), I parked in front of a sandwich shop on Main Street with this sign hanging above the door:
